Surface science & computational soft matter

I study wetting, functional surfaces and colloidal self-assembly. At NTU, I use Monte Carlo simulations to investigate how particle shape and depletion interactions influence chiral selection and self-sorting.

Surface & interface science

My research at UESTC focused on the physical chemistry of surfaces and interfaces, spanning superhydrophobic coatings, droplet dynamics and droplet–surface interactions, condensation, icing and frost formation.

My experimental expertise includes particle synthesis and surface modification, coating formulation and fabrication, and scaling up coating production, supported by surface characterisation, wetting measurements and high-speed imaging.
